Sarah lives in the Lincolnshire Wolds with her family. Together they run a tree surgery business employing 16 people. In November 2010 they began building Jim's Yard. A rural, eco business hub, wood workshop, art gallery and love shack from found, foraged, reused and recycled materials. Living the dream. Oh yes.

Katie Anderson

Katie has always loved the performing arts and has been involved in theatre and production most of her life. After leaving university with a media and psychology degree she started out at BBC Radio Lincolnshire reading out the potato prices on a Friday night. Such a hit with the farmers, she went on to produce and present several programmes before becoming the voice of the station’s afternoon show where she tripled audience figures in twelve months. She has also provided jingles and trailers for BBC World Service and worked on special programmes for BBC Radio Two and Four.

She now lives in South West France where she works as a freelance writer and inspector for Alastair Sawday’s Publishing and Sarah Lamballe Copywriting. When not writing or recording podcasts, Katie runs a bustling café restaurant with her husband, Nat and St Bernard cross, Audrey.

Danny Kendall

A passionate and enthusiastic salesman whose love of customers and product comes across distinctly in his copy. Complemented by four years experience writing internal and external corporate copy, Danny has developed a tone of voice for outdoor retailers that is both exciting and concise.

Victoria Carr

An experienced marketing and advertising copywriter, freelance since 2000, Victoria’s client list is impressive. Writing for some of the UK’s biggest high street retailers, as well as for a whole host of agencies on prestigious accounts, her expertise spans fashion and homewares, property, baby, financial services and the beauty industry.

A former ladieswear buyer for a leading mail order company, Nottingham-born Victoria now lives in Leeds with her husband and two boys. When not at work, she likes nothing better than shopping, cooking, playing the piano and swimming, all with varying degrees of success.

Celia Anderson

Celia started out in publishing at the age of 20, getting to grips with with advertising sales for a boating magazine before a long-awaited break in the editorial department. After spending 3 years learning about the inner workings of watercraft, she moved into web design for the same publishing house and started studying SEO as a sideline.

A burning lust for travel resulted in a TEFL qualification (CELTA) and four years of teaching people from all over the world - learning an awful lot about foreign pop stars and soaps in the process.

Since having her first child in 2010, Celia has got back into writing. It's the perfect way to balance home and work life and she's loving it. Having written for IT specialists, stay-at-home mums, large digital agencies and fashion retailers, Celia is carving a happy little nook in the world of copywriting - and plans to remain there for many years to come.

Lesley Tither

Lesley originally trained and qualified in journalism at Harris College, Preston, with an apprenticeship through St Regis Newspapers in Greater Manchester. She worked for almost ten years on weekly newspapers in England, Wales and Germany.

She has also worked in market research, sales and direct marketing, and as a qualified riding instructor and Intermediate Stable Manager, has worked as a riding therapist with young people with learning disabilities and owned a riding centre in West Wales.

She now lives in France's Auvergne and works as a freelance copywriter for Sarah Lamballe Copywriting.

Her interests include wildlife, walking, camping, environmental issues, animals, cooking and organic gardening. With her collie, she's a member of the local dog training club.

Angela Montague

Putting a psychology degree to dubious use, Angela joined a full-service marketing agency in the early 90s. As PR manager she wrote for international business-to-business accounts.  In 2003 she made the leap from office to freelance and from PR to copywriter. 

In Sarah Lamballe Copywriting she found an excellent source of work and generous mentor, happy to share the secrets of running a successful copywriting business and support Angela’s venture with partner Ashley Taylor who specialising in 3D graphics. 

Aside from work, Angela’s main passion is her two daughters. She’s found exploring Britain through their eyes has made the old new again, always on the hunt for magical locations that make children feel special. 
 
A lover of all things creative from cinema to literature to architecture to TV, Angela relishes the very best of anything, from Shakespeare to Pixar. 

With regular visits to London to drink-in creativity at source, Angela’s far from culture starved in rural Lincolnshire, thanks to like-minded friends who gather for pencil sketching, film watching and book debates. All with a heavy dollop of gossip on the side. Bliss. 

Jill Tomlinson

Jill has been an advertising copywriter for 17 years and went freelance in 2000. She is now one of the most in-demand freelance copywriters in the north west and works for advertising, design and web agencies as well as her own direct clients.

She writes for many major brands across numerous market sectors including property, fashion, leisure, financial, pharmaceutical and IT. Her copywriting style blends creative thinking with sound business sense and consistently reflects in-depth understanding of how consumers tick. When she’s not writing copy, Jill enjoys films, friends and cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

She’s also a keen DIY enthusiast with many half completed projects to prove the point. 

Sarah Littlewood

Sarah loves superheroes and action films and often goes to geeky memorabilia shows to fill her love of all things kitsch. SL2's superpower is her uber efficiency,  good organisation and her love for numbers. (Countdown is her favourite TV viewing).

Her life is her twin sister, Emma, and their love of the Wild West and trips to watch snooker together often baffle their partners.

Sarah is often found with her head in a book and loves exploring the big smoke of London. She would love to have been around in the '70s to experience the amazing clothes, architecure and furniture first time round.
